Dickenson Classic Hammer open meeting 19th April 2025

Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club and Thames Valley Athletics Centre are delighted to be hosting the Dickenson Classic on the 19th April 2025.

This competition is being held in honour of the late Paul Dickenson, a 2-time Olympian, BBC sports commentator and WSEH hammer coach.

All athletes will have the opportunity for 6 throws in a graded competition based on personal best/seasons best for 24/25 seasons. The 3 competitions will not take place in age groups, but in distance groups.

There are prizes available on the day for the best performer of each category thanks to the support of Pro Athletics, Hammer Circle, Choice Agency, and Gareth Cook.

Categories include u15, u17, u20, seniors, and masters, for both men and women in each category.

There will be 3 competitions of 12 hammer throwers on the day, therefore entries are limited to 36 athletes on a first come basis. Entries will be open until Friday 11th April 2025 at 11.59pm or until all slots are filled

Full meeting day information, including the final timetable, event registration times and all additional information athletes will require, will be emailed to all entered athletes on Monday 14th April.
