Thriving and welcoming community athletics club

Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club athletes star at English Schools Track & Field Cup national final

In the English Schools Track & Field Cup Newlands Girls’ School intermediate girls, (year 9/10), won in the Berkshire County round, then travelled to Millfield School in Somerset for the regional final, where they finished 2nd and reached the national final!

They did fantastically well in the final, as the only non-selective school in the competition, they finished 7th overall.

A large number of Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club athletes were in the team and the club are very proud of them.

Thanks to the excellent partnership between Newlands Girls’ School and Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club, via Kelly White, the school’s athletics lead, many of their talented athletes join Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club and the club are delighted that our development of them has given something back to the school by way of this success.
